![]() ![]() I currently use Linux-based thin clients to attach to Microsoft Terminal Services and Citrix Metaframe. Because of that, only the server needs to be a member of the domain. With a thin client, the box at the user's desk just paints the screen the server would render. All a thin client needs to do is load a network protocol and terminal client of some sort, whether it be Microsoft Terminal Services, Citrix Metaframe, X, or old-school stuff like TN3270. ![]() ![]() Yes you can, but to the point in the article, these old OSes aren't going to be secure or easily connected to an active domain.You don't need to add a thin client to the domain. ![]()
